Pelmets add the finishing touch!
Adding a pelmet, whether it’s a fabric covered pelmet or swags and tails can complete your window treatment.
Padded fabric pelmets can be added over drapes, and any kind of blind from rollers, panels, romans and venetians. Swags and tails can add a touch of elegance to a room. If you don’t want anything as formal as swags and tails you can opt for a soft pelmet or valance that can be made in a range of headings from pinch pleat to box pleat.
Pelmets also offer more energy efficiency for your windows. By covering the top of the drapes or blinds, an air lock is created and effectively seals off the space at the top of the window. Helps keep warmth in during cold winter months, and the heat out in the sweltering hot summer.
